Workshop on the Practical Use of EUMETSAT Data (Riga, 2014)

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre in cooperation with EUMETSAT is organizing a training workshop on the “Practical use of EUMETSAT data”, in Riga, which will be held from 10 to 12  February 2014.

The workshop will focus mainly on practical issues using EUMETSAT data in nowcasting, also a practical use of CM SAF, OSI SAF and NWC SAF will be included in a limited extent.

The Sixth EUMETSAT Satellite Application Course for the Middle East

The objective of this course is to enhance the skills of the participants on applications of satellite data and to update their knowledge of new developments of satellite systems such as Meteosat Second Generation, EUMETSAT Polar System and Jason-2. This knowledege should be applied at their home services after this course.

Blended course on MSG Applications and Nowcasting (Ljubljana, 2009)

The Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (ARSO) and EUMETSAT jointly organise this Blended Training Course on MSG Applications and Nowcasting. The course consists of a classroom workshop to be held in Ljubljana from 15-17 April 2009, and a distant learning phase from 20 April to 19 June 2009.
